This piece was inspired by my love for my Scottish heritage. The thistle has always been one of my favourite symbols, representing resilience, beauty, and pride. Pairing it with the iconic Highland cow felt like a natural way to celebrate the spirit of Scotland.
At its heart, this painting is about joy and lightness. Life can often feel challenging and overwhelming, and many of us experience moments of worry, sadness, or fear. This piece was created as a reminder to reconnect with the simple pleasures around us — the small moments of happiness that can lift our spirits.
