This painting was inspired by my visit to a safari park where I had the chance to see giraffes up close. They revealed themselves to be friendly and fun characters, with their beautifully elongated bodies standing tall and majestic. What struck me most was their relaxed nature — slow-moving, peaceful, and seemingly content simply to exist in the moment.
Watching them reminded me how easily we humans lose that sense of calm in our busy working lives. We rush from one thing to the next and often forget to slow down, breathe, and truly notice the beauty around us. This painting reflects that feeling — a quiet reminder to pause, appreciate our surroundings, and embrace the gentle pace of life that nature so effortlessly shows us.
