This original acrylic painting features a fox sitting quietly in a thoughtful pose, gazing off into the distance as if lost in its own reflections. This painting was inspired by my observations of foxes as they roam freely and curiously through the landscape. They seem both watchful and thoughtful, always exploring yet pausing from time to time to simply sit and take in their surroundings.
It also reflects something many of us experience — the calm that comes when we allow ourselves a quiet moment to sit, reflect, and breathe. In the stillness of an autumn evening, thoughts naturally wander and the mind begins to settle. Looking at this piece, you may find yourself wondering about the fox’s day — where she has travelled, what she has seen, and what thoughts are passing through her mind as she sits peacefully in the fading light.
