This coloured pencil sketch captures the adorable personalities of two fluffy guinea pigs, lovingly inspired by our own pets, Ginger and Crumble. Created especially for my son, the drawing reflects both their appearance and their unique characters.
Ginger, with her long flowing fur, is predominantly white with soft toffee and ginger tones, capturing her gentle and timid nature. Beside her is Crumble, a striking contrast with her predominantly black coat, accented by a white nose and warm ginger patches — a little piggy full of strength, spirit, and a big heart.
This piece beautifully brings together their sweet, individual personalities, celebrating the joy and love these small but wonderful creatures bring into our lives.
