The inspiration of this piece is from witnessing these beautiful animals in the scottish countryside. When it is early and quiet, you can usually see them grazing in the fields and the beautiful thing, is that although they are grazing, the mother is always fully alert. to see such magical moments, is a real blessing. this piece captures the innocence and soft nature of these animals and a magical moment between mother and child. When I look apon this piece, I relate so much as a mother. To protect, love and embrace such warm beautiful moments.
